MG LodgeThe MG Lodge is a 3 br 2 ba log cabin with a beautiful, rocked wood fireplace in the great room. The deck, however, is where you will want to spend most of your time. It's perched over a hillside thick with pine, fir and oak trees. One big old fir tree even has a face and a name, Edwood. You can hang out with Edwood all day because he never moves. There is a bar, BBQ, fire pit, jacuzzi and lounges spread out all over the huge deck. The kids will spend hours exploring the forest, playing in the fort, playing basketball and swinging on the swing and hammock (at their own risk, of course.) In the winter they'll have fun sledding outside or playing games in front of the fire. You could even bring a little work, too, because the wireless internet signal reaches outside. The TVs in the bedrooms and living room have a nice variety of channels. There is a modern kitchen and laundry to take care of necessary chores. A turkey deep fryer doubles as a crab boiler. There is even a screened porch if the bugs bug you. The master bedroom downstairs has a queen bed. Two bedrooms upstairs have a queen, a queen futon and 4 bunkbed twins and share a full bath. Another full bath is downstairs. The MG Lodge is practically at the top of the mountain near the headwaters of the Hassayampa River. National Forest is a short hike away. Downtown Prescott is about 45 minutes away and the road can get rough after inclement weather. Four wheel drive vehicles are recommended but not required unless there is snow on the ground. Located in gated community with private drive and locked gate. RatesPer night, 2 persons, Pets Conditional. |
